Which UV testing do you perform on your fabrics?
Our fabrics are tested against standard EN 13758-1:2007, AS/NZS 4399:2017 and AATCC 183-2014 and is rated UPF50+ offering 98% protection against UVA & UVB rays.
As of 2021 our fabrics are tested at Danish Technological Institute here in Denmark against UV 801 certification scheme which composes of several tests.
Danish Technological Institute is a founding member of the UV STANDARD 801.
Why use swimwear made from UV-protective fabrics ?
Light from the sun is needed to absorb Vitamin D for our body. But only a little is needed each day. The best way to protect children and yourself from the sun when they are outside, is to cover them up in clothing or swimwear that blocks harmful rays. For clothing to block the harmful UV-rays it has to have a Ultra Violet Protection Factor (UPF). The UPF-rating indicates the level of protection the garment provides from the suns UV rays on a scale from 15 to 50+. The higher the UPF factor the better the protection is from UV rays.

How to order correct size ?
Please open our sizeguide here to make sure you order the right size. LINK. We know all bodies are so unique. The general guideline is to measure the body.
We provide sizing info based on measurements in centimeter (cm).
If you are not sure about sizing, we suggest going up a size so the suit can last a little longer.
A general guideline we suggest below is:
– 0-1 year: 3 months – 10 months
– 1-2 year: 11 months – 2 years
– 2-3 year: 2 years – 3 years
– 3-4 year: 3 years – 4 years
– 5-6 year: 5 years – 6 years
